If only...

If only our new fireplace had been put in BEFORE the big ice storm. It sure would have been a nice source of heat when we had no power for two days. Oh well, I have a feeling it will get plenty of use in the future.

Survivors

We survived Thursday night's ice storm. Unfortunately, we did have a few causalities like...

Luckily, neither of the houses was hit by any falling limbs, but we are still out of power!

Finally, the snow melted enough for the roofers to finish!

P.S. As you can see, it is enclosed now. If you come over for a look you won't have to freeze anymore- although we appreciate all of you who have taken the cold walk over just to indulge us!

Big Buck Down

Kyle got a nine pointer with his bow today. He was very excited since he hasn't shot a buck in a long time. He had been holding out on "the big one." I guess he couldn't wait any longer! His buddy got one today too.
