More pictures from our vaction to the Outer Banks

You had to have four wheel drive to reach our house since it was only accessible from the beach. Here's a car driving on the beach. Here's picture of the Corolla Lighthouse:Another beautiful day- It didn't rain once!!!

Scenery from the drive

The first and last pictures are of the Navy base at Norfolk Scenery from the drive home

Fun in the Ocean

Kyle tried out boogie boarding. I gave up after one wave kicked my butt.

Vacation

Views of the house from the ocean:
Last week we were on vacation with our neighbors Mike and Bri and her family (22 people total). We went to the Outer Banks in North Carolina. When we first arrived we found out that the house we had rented was not ready and that we had been upgraded to a different house. The pictures above are of the house we stayed in. I didn't take too many pictures of the house because you can see pictures of it on-line at this address: http://www.twiddy.com/homes/4x4/carova-beach/morgans-reach.aspx Picture #26 is the room Kyle and I shared. It had its own bathroom too.

Coming soon...

Pictures from our vacation to North Carolina

"New" Stuff

Our new towel holder- This has quite and interesting story. I had seen one of these in a magazine and wanted one soooo badly but I had never seen one for sale. Then, when Mom and I went to Southern IN we found one. I had to buy it!!! Plus, it is a great souvenir to remember our trip!
The glass for the shower door finally came about two weeks ago but I don't think I posted posted a picture. It looks much better in person. Even better than that? Showering in it!!!

The new couch! Kyle is snoozing away on it right now.

Two deliveries at once!

Sidewalks

Kyle left me home on Friday to oversee the concrete work and the furniture delivery. Of course, our new couch- which was due to arrive a week ago- arrived at the exact same time that the second concrete truck came. Things got a little hairy esp. when the furniture truck had to weave around the concrete truck. Overall, I think I did a good job directing traffic. The concrete looks pretty good. I’ll post a picture of the couch later.
